Native FSE

System fonts, no page builder

Overview

Native block theme for recurring revenue

WPBillify is a WordPress 6.7+ block theme. Header, footer, templates, and pages are edited with core blocks. It does not load a page builder, Google Fonts, or extra front-end libraries.

  • Full site editing — templates for front page, pages, blog, single posts, archives, search, and 404.
  • System Sans-apple-system stack; fluid type from theme.json.
  • PulseFit demo brand — lime accent #D4FF00 on navy, with a bundled logo seeded on first load.
  • Translation-ready & RTL — text domain wpbillify.
Homepages

Gym memberships

The default front page is the Gym layout (wpbillify/page-home-gym). It is created on theme activation and assigned under Settings → Reading.

  • Split hero with trial CTAs and proof stats.
  • Three metro location cards (live branches or sample clubs).
  • Membership pricing with day / week / month / year / lifetime toggles when the plugin is active.
  • Bento feature grid, billing FAQ accordion, and a closing billing CTA.
Homepages

Online coaching

A full-page pattern for remote coaching programs. Switch the front page to Online Coaching, or keep it as a separate landing page.

  • Hero with apply / roster CTAs and coaching stats.
  • How-it-works process section and a three-coach roster.
  • Coaching plan cards from category online-coaching.
  • Testimonials, FAQ, and the same billing closing banner.
Homepages

Internet service (ISP)

PulseFiber layout for fiber and broadband plans. Visitors check an address, pick a speed tier, and subscribe on the same page.

  • Address-check hero and a decorative speed / telemetry panel.
  • Fiber plans from category internet-isp.
  • Add-on cards (mesh, security, lifetime fiber).
  • ISP features, social proof, FAQ, and billing CTA.
Billing

Live plans, or complete sample cards

Plan patterns call the Lucrativeit billing plugin when it is active. If the plugin is off, or a category has no plans yet, the theme still renders styled sample cards so the layout never looks empty.

  • Gym[lucrsure_plans category="gym-membership"]
  • Coaching — category online-coaching
  • Internet — category internet-isp
  • Plugin CSS variables are mapped to the theme palette so cards match PulseFit.
Billing

Locations from the billing plugin

The Locations pattern renders [lucrsure_locations] when Subscription & Recurring Billing is active. Branch photos are edited in the plugin (Branches), not in the theme.

  • Theme adds a “Schedule a tour” button on each card.
  • Without the plugin, three sample clubs (Downtown, Green Valley, Silver Lake) still show.
  • A dedicated Locations page is created on activation.
Billing

Checkout as a modal

Choosing a plan opens the plugin checkout inside a theme dialog instead of jumping to another page. Escape, overlay click, or Close returns to the plans grid.

  • Smooth-scroll to #plans, #locations, #faq, #coaches, and #coverage.
  • Sticky header height is subtracted so anchors land in view.
  • Success state shows a confirmation card with next steps (invoice emailed, payment pending).
Theme settings

Colors & fonts without the Site Editor

Theme settings → Colors & fonts controls the PulseFit palette and type scale site-wide. Reset restores the default lime / navy values.

  • Button background, text, and hover states.
  • Headings, body, muted text, links, brand accent, page background.
  • Font sizes in px for body, H1–H3, buttons, and captions.
Design

Three style variations

Switch palettes under Appearance → Editor → Styles. Each variation retints the theme.json palette for that business without changing layout.

  • Gym — Pulse lime wash on navy contrast.
  • Coaching — cleaner whites for program landing pages.
  • Internet — slightly cooler navy for fiber branding.
Editor

Patterns for pages and sections

Insert from the block inserter → Patterns. Categories: WPBillify pages (full layouts) and WPBillify (heroes, pricing, sections).

  • Full layouts: Gym / Coaching / Internet homes, Contact, Locations, FAQ, Legal, Pricing hub.
  • Sections: heroes, features, plans, testimonials, coaches, FAQ, billing CTA, stats, ISP add-ons.
  • Block styles: Checkmarks on lists, Billing card on groups.
Setup

Starter pages and Primary menu

On activation the theme publishes a working site: pages, a Primary menu, and Reading settings. Editors replace copy and images — they do not start from a blank canvas.

  1. Pages: Gym, Online Coaching, Internet Service, Location, FAQ, Contact us, Blog, Privacy, Terms, Cookies.
  2. Gym is set as the homepage; Blog is assigned as the posts page.
  3. Primary menu: Home (with Gym / Internet / Coaching children), Location, FAQ, Contact us, Blog.
  4. Privacy Policy is registered with WordPress when empty.
Content

Blog listing

Theme settings → Blog page controls the title, short description, and hero image above the post grid. Assign the posts page under Settings → Reading.

  • Archive template: 3-column grid with featured image, date, title, and excerpt.
  • Single posts: featured image, title, date, author, content, tags, and comments.
  • Search, no-results, and 404 patterns are included.
Content

Inner page heroes

Standard pages (Contact, Privacy, Terms, Cookies) can show a title banner. Homepage templates keep their own heroes and are not affected.

  • Toggle the banner on or off.
  • Default image, or a page featured image when set.
  • Overlay: Dark (recommended), Navy + lime wash, or Light.
Plugins

Contact us + Contact Form 7

The Contact pattern is a two-column layout: studio details on the left, form on the right. Required plugins setup installs Contact Form 7 from WordPress.org, creates a form, and inserts it on Contact us.

  • Without CF7 the layout still shows; the form area stays empty until the plugin is installed.
  • Legal pages (Privacy, Terms, Cookies) share a simple legal pattern.
Theme settings

Footer newsletter

The footer form posts to admin-post.php, validates the email, and stores it in a theme option (no custom post type). Signups appear under Theme settings → Newsletter.

  • Success, invalid, and error messages return to #newsletter.
  • Remove a subscriber from the admin table.
  • Hide the form from the Footer tab if you do not need it.
Setup

Required plugins, one screen

Theme settings → Required plugins installs and activates the two WordPress.org plugins that make the demo fully workable. Either step can be skipped and completed later.

  1. Install / activate Lucrativeit Subscription & Recurring Billing for live plans, checkout, and branches.
  2. Import matching demo categories in the plugin (Gym, Online Coaching, Internet).
  3. Install Contact Form 7 so Contact us has a working form.

The theme still loads without them — plans stay as samples and the contact form will not submit.

Help

Documentation inside wp-admin

Theme settings → Documentation is a sidebar guide for editors. Topics link to the matching settings tabs and to Pages / Menus / Reading.

  • Header, Footer, Colors & fonts, Page content, Patterns.
  • Gym / Coaching / Internet homepages.
  • Blog listing, page heroes, required plugins, and tips.

Frequently asked questions

WPBillify is a WordPress block theme. Pair it with Lucrativeit Subscription & Recurring Billing for live checkout.

Do I need a page builder?

No. WPBillify is a native full-site editing theme. Edit pages and patterns in the block editor. Header and footer are managed from Theme settings so those parts stay consistent site-wide.

Does the theme work without the billing plugin?

Yes. Homepages still show sample plan and location cards. Checkout and live intervals require Lucrativeit Subscription & Recurring Billing. Install it from Theme settings → Required plugins, then import the Gym, Online Coaching, and Internet demo categories.

How do I switch between Gym, Coaching, and Internet?

All three pages are created on activation. Set the front page under Settings → Reading. Optionally apply the matching style variation under Appearance → Editor → Styles (Gym, Coaching, or Internet).

Where do I change the logo and Get Started button?

WPBillify Theme settings → Header. Upload the logo, set width, optionally show the site title, and set the CTA label/URL. Edit navigation under Appearance → Menus (Primary). Prefer Theme settings over the Site Editor for header and footer.

How does on-page checkout work?

When the billing plugin is active, choosing a plan opens checkout in a modal. The visitor stays on the homepage. Closing the dialog returns to the plans section. Gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, SSLCommerz, invoices) are configured in the plugin, not the theme.

How do I get a working contact form?

Open Theme settings → Required plugins and install Contact Form 7. The theme creates a form and inserts it on the Contact us page. You can edit fields later under Contact → Contact Forms.

Where are newsletter emails stored?

In a theme option, listed under Theme settings → Newsletter. There is no custom post type. Remove addresses from that table. Hide the form from the Footer tab if you do not need signups.

What are the technical requirements?
